Senopah Kennels
"Senopah" is a word from the Black Foot
Indian language that means animal with a
soul.  The soul is the mind, will, and
emotions, and the Brittany is blessed with
unequalled intelligence, tremendous heart,
and undaunted loyalty to their master.
Senopah Kennels was started in 2000 with
the vision of producing the best personal
gun and companion Brittany  possible by
combining the best field trial, conformation,
and hunting bloodlines.

Our bloodlines are from  the old established
lineages that go back to Bean's Blaze, Hi
Proof Rumrunner, Ban Dee, Milligan's Ozark
Radar Drifter, Chick's Blazin Sawtooth Sam,
and Scipio's Little Chick.

Our "limited" breeding program has
produced Brittanys that have proven
themselves under many varied hunting
conditions from the brush country in south
Texas to the high plains of Oklahoma to the
blue grass country of Kentucky.  They are at
home hunting all species of upland game
birds.
We are members of the Texas Coastal
Brittany Club and abide by the Objective
and Purpose of the American Brittany Club
which is
"to promote cooperation and
friendship among the breeders and owners
of Brittanys and to encourage higher
standards in breeding, training, and
showing of Brittanys in the field and in the
show ring; to discourage the breed from
becoming split into groups of "field dogs"
and "show dogs" and to strive to keep if
forever a "dual dog"
